On N Crossover Rd in Fayetteville, Lodge #1987 has built something you can actually feel the moment you walk through the door. Members describe it as immediately inviting, and that's not an accident. The people here have spent years cultivating an atmosphere where a first-time visitor feels like a returning friend and a disabled veteran gets a full lunch and a standing ovation.

The lodge runs on genuine commitment to the Elks' five core values: charity, justice, brotherly love, fidelity, and the belief that no one should be forgotten. That last one shows up in real ways. Programs specifically honoring disabled vets, youth scholarships funded by member fundraisers, and community events that fill the calendar year-round. The pool draws families back summer after summer, and the staff makes a point of learning your name.

With a 4.7-star rating across 93 reviews, this isn't a club coasting on its charter. It's a lodge that earns its reputation every single week through the people who plan the events, cook the food, and stay late to clean up.

What We Offer

The lodge offers far more than a meeting room. Friday night dinners bring members and guests together over hearty, well-priced meals that regulars rave about. The swimming pool is a seasonal centerpiece for families, and supervised activities keep kids engaged while adults connect.

Beyond social events, Lodge #1987 runs active charitable programs including scholarship funds for local students, support for veterans' initiatives at the state and national level, and community outreach tied to the Elks National Foundation. Members also have access to meeting spaces for civic groups and private events. Whether you're considering membership or attending as a guest, there's always something happening at 4444 N Crossover Rd worth showing up for.

"The folks that come here are all very nice. The service is fast, friendly, and everything on the menu is delicious. On occasion they have live bands and dancing. They also have a big 4th of July party. It takes a while to get through the vetting process but after that it's very nice."

"Elk's Lodge #1987 is a great facility to be enjoyed by the entire family for almost any occasion. The bar is well stocked and the kitchen produces a tasty and wide menu selection. There are constant various activities going on. The best thing about it, other than everyone seeming to be family, is that it's a benevolent organization that focuses on veterans and our service men and women. The pool is a big hit, as is the nights when a band plays."
